Moar Zombies

As you can probably tell, I love zombies. I am so thrilled that Zombzine selected my work once again!

Check out the Halloween issue to read my short story “Safe Haven” and my article “Zombies: Turning Your Problems into Everyone’s Problems Since the 1930s.”

The blurb for “Safe Haven” is: A zombie apocalypse survivor gets more than they bargained for when they reach an off-grid home. (It’s a 600-word short story, but it was a lot of fun to write, so I hope it’s a lot of fun to read!)

In my article, I get to dive into several of my favorite zombie books as well as one zombie movie I despise. (Hint: The movie is based on a book. It starts with a WW and ends with a Z.) I haven’t really been writing my book reviews here, so it was fun to give little snippets of some of my recent reads, including American Rapture by C.J. Leede, Wake Up and Open Your Eyes by Clay McLeod, The Girl with all the Gifts by Mike Carey, and This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers. I also mention a great blood and guts zombie novel, 2389: A Space Horror Novel by Iain Rob Wright, which I love.

I hope you give the short story, article, and those books a read!

More news soon! I have two pieces coming out this late fall/early winter season.
